Job Title – Sport Lecturer
Salary – up to ?34,000
Location – Northamptonshire
Contract Type – Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sport professional to join a dynamic team of lecturers and inspire the next generation of learners.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Sport and Physical Education courses
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current sport industry trends and practices
  • Support students in developing practical sport skills, theoretical knowledge, and employability within the sport and fitness sector
  • Facilitate sessions in areas such as coaching, fitness training, sports science, and health and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Develop links with local sports clubs, fitness centres, and organisations to enhance student opportunities, including work placements and enrichment

Essential Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Sport, Coaching, Sports Science, or a related field
  • Relevant industry experience within the sport, fitness, or coaching sector
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a passion for supporting learner development
